Instagram just can't stop stepping on others toes. Towards the beginning of this year, the popular photo/video sharing platform introduced IGTV , a platform setup to rival YouTube which allows users to make vertical videos of up to one hour. Again, it looks like Instagram has another plan in mind. It appears that Instagram is looking to introduce IG Shopping service where users are able to buy items from the app. The app will allow users to browse items that are sold by people they follow and also recommend items from them too. There is no date yet as to when this exciting new feature will be added to the app but we are sure that it is going to happen sooner rather than later. So watch out Jumia, Amazon and the likes.

Facebook has continued to create updates and improvements for its app. Although many might not notice these new features before they are eventually make public, frequent users of the apps might notice something. The latest feature to surface is the Do Not Disturb feature that is being tested for both Instagram and Facebook. This feature allows you to block all notifications from the apps for 30 minutes, an hour, two hours, the whole day or for as long as you want until you switch it back on manually. Instagram recently published a new feature on its mobile app, dubbed Music in Stories. This will enable users who are use Instagram Stories to put music to them on iPhone alone for now. The company said that the option to add music to your Stories is limited to iOS device at the moment, but will later roll out to Android handsets in no distant time.
