Gaming Platform Set To Be Added In Snapchat's Mobile Apps
To remain relevant in the social network market, Snapchat intends to include gaming platform to its mobile app. The company have earlier toyed with the plan of bringing interactive content such as AR selfie games, now well-developed games will arrive on Snapchat mobile apps in no time according to recent report.
As far as we know, Snapchat has entered into agreement with a publisher that will develop games for its upcoming gaming platform. However, both the name of this publisher and the game is currently unknown. But, a person known with Snapchat's idea claims that this is more of a research contrary to a big investment from the company.
Snapchat believes that the inclusion of game will entertain users for more time while using its mobile apps. The plan is that the longer people use the app, the more income the company will realise.
Anyway, that is the company's objective, but we should remember that Messenger also has gaming features on its app, so this will be another round of competition.
