Lazy Bloggers, Google Has Your Back With This New Android P Feature
To many people, copy and paste seems to be a very challenging task, especially to some so-called “bloggers.” Well, how about an easier way to do it?
A lot of Android users finds it difficult to copy and paste with their devices, especially when using a phone and not a larger tablet. Normally, to copy a text on an Android device, you need to long press the word after which a call-up kafe that reads “copy, search, or select all” pops up. The text that is long pressed is now highlighted in blue with two blue dots by the side, then you’ll drag the blue dots over what you want to copy. I know you know all these though, I'm just reminding you of how “difficult” it is.
However, the upcoming Android P is set to change things a little: Expected to be fully released in the summer, Android P has a new feature called the Magnifier. It is almost similar to the previous way to copy text, but in this case, there is a circular ball floating above the blue dot as you drag it around so that you can copy your texts more precisely.
Just few days ago, Google released Android P Beta 3 which suggests that the akibat build is drawing near. For now, you can enjoy this new operating system on Pixel devices or by using Android emulators.
Hopefully, when this feature officially rolls out, you'll be able to enjoy a seamless copy-pasting experience.
