The previously launched Nokia X6 was a huge success as HMD Global's first notched smartphone, receiving thousand of positive reception. Now, the company is reportedly working on a new device, dubbed Nokia X5, which is set to launch in the coming week, shares similarities with the X6. It is also expected to be sold in other markets aside from China where the Nokia X6 is exclusively sold.

This unannounced Nokia X5 is an entry-level phone that will be officially introduced on July 11. Details about the specification of the X5 are largely unknown; we do know however that the X6 has a higher resolution display.

The device will run on a MediaTek chipset and not a Snapdragon processor since the former is cheaper. It is also not likely that there will be two variants of the phone.

Nokia X6 and X5 aside, HMD Global is preparing to launch another flagship device, the Nokia 9. This device does have a notch, headphone jack and wireless charging. The camera will look like those on the Nokia Lumia, isn't that amazing?

The Direct to Retail app helps registered VTU retailers to buy VTU directly from MTN without any issues or hassles. The launch event organized by MTN recorded a lot of attendants, where so many of them were privileged to download the app, while others got to learn more about it.
