HMD Global has announced the list of Nokia-branded smartphones that will receive the new Android 9 Pie update. Infact, the Finnish company has decided that this latest operating system will be available for all Nokia devices.

Although there is no set time yet, the company has assured customers that no matter the kind of HMD-produced device that they use, they will still get the update.

Incase you're confused, HMD Global is the producer of new generation of Nokia-branded smartphones, feature phones and tablets.

Here is a list of the Nokia phones that are expected to get the Android 9 Pie update:

From the list, Nokia 7 Plus is expected to get the update first because it was the only HMD device that was enrolled in the Developer Preview Program. The other high-end devices like the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco are also expected to be among the leading candidates to get the update, followed by the phones with Android One and finally, the low-end ones.

MTN Direct to Retail (D2R) is a new app launched by the telcom giant few days ago. D2R is designed specifically for VTU sellers, and it's available across all 36 states in Nigeria. The Direct to Retail app helps registered VTU retailers to buy VTU directly from MTN without any issues or hassles. The launch event organized by MTN recorded a lot of attendants, where so many of them were privileged to download the app, while others got to learn more about it.
