Update: How To Activate Mtn, Airtel, 9Mobile, Ntel And Glo Night Plans
A lot of people prefer to browse at night because there is less network jam and pages loads much faster during that time, together with zero disturbance which allows one to carry out his/her online work effectively, and coupled with the cheap night plans offered by our telco operators.
In this post, we're here to see how to activate MTN, Airtel, 9Mobile, Ntel and Glo night plans. Including their respective subscription codes, validity periods, working time duration and how to check data balance. Let's proceed.
Starting from the 16th of August, you will now have to pay N25 for 125MB and N50 for N500MB which is usable within the hours of 12am and 4am.
Previously as we are all aware, you would get500MB for N25 and 1GB for N50, but that is not the case anymore. The other change to this night plan is that you now renew your subscription whenever you exhaust it at night.
You can still subscribe by dialing *406# after which you follow the prompt, or send Night to 131. But firstly, you must be on MTN Pulse before activating this midnight plan, so dial *406# and reply with 1 to migrate.
Sometimes, some subscribers complain that they can't browse with it, or it stops before using up the allocated data. So, to avoid any issues, it's advisable to activate this mtn 125mb for n25 or 500mb for N50 night plan from 12:10am and above.
Airtel night plan came less than two months after MTN introduced theirs. It offers better 500MB for N25 and a bigger N200 for 1.5gb data, both valid between 12am – 5am. Please note that you must opt-in to Airtel SmartTrybe before being able to subscribe to this plan, so dial *312# and reply with 1 to migrate.
9Mobile has one of the poorest night plans in Nigeria which is a bit expensive compared to other networks. But if you want to enjoy super-fast browsing speed, you can opt-in to this plan which offers N50 for 250MB and 1GB for N200. This midnight plan is also valid between 12:00am – 5:00am.
Please note that you must be on the morecliq tariff plan before subscribing. Enter *244*1# to migrate.
Just like 9Mobile, Glo night plan offers the same N200 for 1GB data which is usable for a night from 12:00 to 5:00am. Simply dial *127*60# to activate.
If you love staying up late at night, you should go for this Ntel night plan which offers unlimited browsing from 10PM – 6AM every night for 7 days for just N1500. See full details here.

- Recharge at least ₦200 airtime
- Then dial *312#
- Now select 3 for Airtel Night Plans
- And reply with 1 for 1.5GB.
How to Subscribe for 9Mobile Night Plan
