Goodbye To Zoto As Popular Recharge App Officially Shuts Down
Just few weeks ago, we talked about Zoto going AWOL and not responding to the call and cries of its customers. Well, he popular recharge and billing payment app–Zoto has finally and officially shut down operations in Nigeria.
Zoto was founded in mid-2015, but is now gone in less than 3 years of operation. All staff have been released of their duties, but no solid reason has yet been given for the closure of the company. Meanwhile, the Co-founder of the popular app wrote on Twitter: “Not all startups survive unfortunately.”
Zoto, however, intends to make a comeback later in the future. We definitely would miss the freebies that the company provided us while it lasted. And to those whose money is trapped in their Zoto wallet, just count your loses and move on. Also, we will surely miss the emails from “Zubby from Zoto.”
